ExCAL were engaged by AMG Resources to provide large sections of the information required for their IPPC permit application, including preparation of the site report, decommissioning/site closure plan, conducting noise surveys, and compiling the application.

In addition to the IPPC permit application work, ExCAL has conducted a number of projects on behalf of AMG Resources. A summary of the various surveys and assessments is given below:

• A comprehensive COSHH assessment.
• Annual mass balances including an assessment of water, fuel, raw materials, chemicals and energy. The results are provided to the Environment Agency.
• Topographical surveys were undertaken and designs subsequently produced to enable concrete hardstandings to be installed.
