Air Dispertion and Environmental Fate Modelling

ExCAL has developed a wide range of environmental and geological computer modelling services.

We currently offer the following computer services:

Atmospheric Modelling
Utilising ADMS4 we are able to provide comprehensive atmospheric dispersion models. Emissions from both point and diffuse sources can be modelled to evaluate the dispersion plume and ground level concentrations of contaminants. The model allows input of both meteorological and topographical data.

Geological Modelling
We use the VULCAN system to provide detailed 3D models of geological deposits and ore bodies. The model can be used to predict potential volumes of coal reserves and other valuable resources.

Digital Ground Modelling
ExCAL provides comprehensive DGM facilities linked, via Land Development Desktop to AutoCad 2000. We are able to provide ground models and cross sections of both current and proposed profiles. The system allows rapid evaluation of cut and fill volumes and can generate contours and surface water runoff profiles.

Groundwater Modelling
We use several methods to provide 3D models of groundwater flow. Our systems allow contamination transportation to be evaluated within the 3D framework. In addition to groundwater movement we can provide 3D models of contamination distribution.

Surface Water Modelling
We have both river and sea modelling capabilities. Our systems allow assessment and prediction of sediment transportation, contaminant movement and flow characteristics.
